Дальше предлагается проголосовать за фильм или предложить свой, but you can do that here, if you want to take part in the event =)

Requirements: the movie should be in English (good English, please, no cursing =)), interesting and maybe rather famous (so that we can understand it without subtitles), no more than 2 hours long, the more dialogues the better.

Thanks, some practice will be useful. But I can't do it (vote for the film) here.

Fair enough. I don't want to start a poll here, so you can just name the movie/movies you'd like to watch. Right now there are several suggestions:

The Illusionist (Иллюзионист), Finding Neverland (Волшебная страна), Love Actually (Реальная любовь), He's Just Not That Into You (Обещать - не значит жениться), Back to the Future (Назад в будущее), Italian Job (Ограбление по-итальянски).

there was a movie with Johny Depp, he was a theater writer who further wrote "Peter Pen". He met a woman with three (or about) kids. She died in the end and he took kids.
Who knows the movie? It's boring but great :)

Year, we'll have to bring our own DVDs or flash drives. So the final decision on the movie will depend on that, too.

Info about the cinema

The address is Rossijskaya, 37. Bus stops: "Кинотеатр "Смена" or "Театр кукол" (it will take you about 7 minutes to get from the "Puppet theatre" bus stop to the cinema).

The showing room is small (about 6x12 metres) but cosy. There are 60 seats there.

Info about the movie

"Finding Neverland" is a 2004 British/American semi-biographical film that stars Johnny Depp, Kate Winslet and Dustin Hoffman.
- The screenplay is based on the play "The Man Who Was Peter Pan" by Allan Knee.
-The story focuses on Scottish writer J. M. Barrie, his platonic relationship with Sylvia Llewelyn Davies, and his close friendship with her sons, who inspire the classic play Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up.
- The film was nominated for several Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Actor for Depp's portrayal of playwright J.M. Barrie.
